ASRock's P55 and 785G Motherboards Previewed Before Computex

Company to showcase them during next week's show

ASRock has a few surprises for those attending the upcoming Computex 2009 show, as the company is prepared to showcase its latest designs of the yet-unannounced P55 and 785G chipsets. The two boards just made an appearance on the Internet, providing us with various details on the technical specifications of upcoming P55 and 785G platforms, coming from Intel and AMD, respectively. Both boards will enable users with support for dual-channel DDR3 memory, as well as socket-compatibility with the latest LGA1156 and AM3 processors.

 

As of recently, ASRock appears to have adopted a different strategy for its line of computer motherboards, as the company keeps on releasing the mobos that are built on the latest chipsets. Such is the case with two of the company's upcoming motherboards, the M3A785GXH/128M and the P55 Deluxe, built on the AMD 785G and Intel's P55 chipsets, respectively. Due to be showcased at Computex next week, these new platforms will provide users with support for the upcoming Phenom II and Core i5 processors.

 

Having recently made an appearance on the Internet, the P55 Deluxe features a built-in LGA1156 socket, four dual-channel DDR3-2000 memory slots, three PCI-Express x16 slots with CrossFireX support and the Advanced V16 Power Phase Design. On the other hand, there's the M3A785GXH/128M which has been built on the AMD 785G chipset and boasts 128MB of SidePort memory. The board comes with its own four DDR3-1600 memory slots, three PCI-Express x16 and the Radeon HD4200 integrated graphics.

 

The boards are bound to become available after Computex, but for the time being we still have to wait for details on their pricing. More should become available by next week, as the company is bound to preview some of the early designs of its upcoming products.
