Blogger, the most popular blog service on the Internet, aims to become the most updated product of the search giant as the company reveals more and more improvements. Today, Blogger receives another update that will allow the service to convert Roman characters into Hindi. As you might know, Hindi is an Indo-European language spoken mainly in northern and central India and one of the official languages of the Union government of India as it is mentioned on Wikipedia. Hindi is spoken by 790 million people, most of them being India residents.
"Blogger offers an automatic transliteration option for converting Roman characters to the Devanâgarî characters used in Hindi. This lets you type Hindi words phonetically in English script and still have them appear in their correct alphabet. Note that this is not the same as translation -- it is the sound of the words that are converted from one alphabet to the other, not their meaning", it is mentioned in the description of the feature.
Here's what you must do to enable this latest feature of Blogger. Log into the blog service, go to Settings and click on Basic. You should be able to see the "Show transliteration button for your post" feature. Choose yes and every time you'll write a new post, remember to select the Transliteration button.
Recently, the company improved Blogger several times with new features and notifications to improve the results provided by the blog service. One of the alerts was quite interesting because Blogger now flags multiple blogs as harmful, allowing users to report the pages they want using a NavBar option. When numerous readers flag the same blog as harmful, the company will display a notification every time a new user tries to visit the page, sustaining the blog was marked and it might include harmful content.
