Now in her 40s, Cindy Margolis, once the Internet's most downloaded woman is said to have signed for a Playboy pictorial. The sexy star will see if she's still "top notch" and if the men's lifestyle magazine will sell over the top. The millions of downloads of her Internet photos are out of the question to be reached in regards of the Playboy issues sold but it's still a very good and bold step to take.
Cindy Margolis started her Hollywood career as a model on The Price Is Right. Then followed a number a various jobs and contracts that didn't require too much clothing: she appeared in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and TV's annual Lingerie Bowl, served as the national spokeswoman for Resolve: The National Infertility Association and won Celebrity Cooking Showdown.
Her jobs led her to write a book about her involvement in The National Infertility Association and, of course, media exposure.
Hugh Hefner's magazine has made some previous offers to Margolis but she turned all of them down. Until she received a call on her 40th birthday with another offer. She said yes and no further details are known. Asked about why she accepted the offer so late, Cindy Margolis said: "Thank goodness for Desperate Housewives... you're not dead just because you are married and have children."
Margolis is mother of three and was also attracted by the chance to compete against much younger women: "In the past it would have been for gratuitous reasons. (But now) It will be fun to go up against the 20-year-olds and show them that they don't have anything on me!"
