Jane Seymour finally admits to having breast implantsJane Seymour has finally admitted that she had breast implants before going topless for the popular comedy "The Wedding Crashers" (starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn). If you remember, in a rather hot scene Jane's character tries to seduce the character played by Wilson and asks him to feel her breast implants (anyone else sees the irony in this?). And so the rumors began.
An interesting fact is that the 'Wedding Crashers" scene was the first topless scene Seymour ever shot in her career - and yes, she did make up for the lost time by displaying a hot body despite not being exactly 20. Ever since, the British actress and former Bond girl has been plagued by rumors that she in fact resorted to plastic surgery in order to trim her body and make it look that good for the camera.
For a long time, the actress who became famous for acting in the western/dramatic television series "Doctor Quinn" insisted that the figure she famously displayed in the 2005 comedy was due to her 'genes' and a 'sensible' diet, and had nothing to do with any cosmetic surgery. However, in a recent interview that will be published next week, she reveals that after giving birth (to twins) 11 years ago, she decided to have breast implants. She does however insist that they were unusually small implants by Hollywood standards. "My plastic surgeon had to special order them," she told People Magazine.
She also revealed that she had a 'minor' eye lift done. "It was more than a decade ago. Genetically, I had baggy eyes and photographers said they didn't want to spend money endlessly having to eradicate them" she stated. "I've never said I won't [have plastic surgery done]" she observed recently, "but until I see a full face lift that doesn't look like one, or Botox or cheekbone implants that look natural, I doubt I'll be interested. I'm sure an expert would say I need an enormous amount of work, but then you look at actresses such as Judi Dench or Helen Mirren - if they have had work, it's so subtle you'd never know".
Yes, well, one almost universal truth that Jane should have learned by now is that one can never hide cosmetic surgery for too long. However, it's always entertaining to play celebrity "guess who had what done when". They should turn it into a live show on TV. That would be a blast.
