Swiss manufacturer of luxury mobile phones Gresso has just announce its new expensive project called Luxor World Time. The new luxurious phone was especially designed to show users the time of the five main world business centres: Tokyo, Moscow, Paris, London and New York.
Feature-wise, Luxor World Time is not a top-tier mobile phone, instead it's a top-tier when it comes to price tag. The handset can be bought for no less than 6,000 USD, and it was inspired by the Swiss traditions of high watchmaking.
The phone has the word “sapphire” written all over it. The screen, as well as the clock-face with elegant Roman figures located on the back panel are fringed with two 97-carat sapphire crystals with high-gloss coating.
Further, the case of the luxurious phone is produced from ultrastrong and superlight titanium alloy specially developed for the manufacturer.
The alloy is coated with high-tech ceramics that was originally used only in space industry.
The main feature of the phone is to show its six independent Swiss clockwork mechanisms on the back panel.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to change the location of any of the five pre-defined clocks, instead you are given the choice to set the sixth clock time with the location you want.
Another improvement borrowed from the watchmaking industry is the bezel made of planished steel with black PVD coating on the front panel. Also, the back panel is covered by a soft genuine Italian leather.
The phone's watches are powered reserved for at least 10 years. Every button of the keypad is made from sapphire single crystal and polished manually by means of diamond tool.
Perhaps you might be astounded by the phone's price for what it has to offer, but remember that we're talking about the same company that delivered earlier this year one of the most expensive mobile phones in the world, Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot worth 1,000,000 USD.
