And, somehow, these two put together make sense!Jessica Simpson was offered the role of a porn star but her father turned it down, even if was certain that his daughter would get an Oscar for it. Instead, she will turn to country music because 'But, daddy, all I want to do is sing!'. The 'Blonde Ambition' star, who has worked on the set of her latest movie (to read: cinematographic catastrophe) with country legend Willie Nelson, is set to release another music album this year. But, this time around, pop is off limits!
This issue of 'Harper's Bazaar' features an exclusive interview with Jessica Simpson, although that which she has to say is no longer newsworthy: given that her latest album tanked, as so did her movies, it's completely unsurprising to see that she's still talking about her breasts, with the emphasis placed on them being real and not surgically enhanced. That's a shocker! Not! But we have to cut the girl some slack since everything that she touched lately turned to dust - she's only trying to make the best of a clearly disastrous period in her life.
Says Jessica about plastic surgery: 'I've had none. But maybe after having kids, if my boobs dropped down to my belly button, I would get them lifted. ... Maintenance. But you know, my boobs are real.' Of course we do - your papa made sure we all knew that your breasts are huge because that's how nature wanted them to be. Also - explains the singer/actress - it would be practically impossible for her to have any work done since she's surrounded by paparazzi almost around the clock. 'People have said that I've had things like a jaw replacement or implant or something. I'm photographed every day of my life and have never worn any bandages or anything, so how could that be right?', she asks.
And, in case Jessica's breasts managed to get your attention (they usually do and she's counting on it this time too!), here's more about her upcoming album: apparently, Jessica's second post-divorce material will see a departure from pop music, heading straight into the realm of country music. Do we want that to happen? Well, not really but, anyway, Jessica will go ahead and record an album with Willie Nelson. 'My next album is probably going to be with Willie Nelson. I've been wanting to do a country record, because its just my roots. I aspire to be Patsy Cline.', Simpson tells 'Bazaar'.
If you got this far reading this, you probably are really interested in Jessica's career and are not one of those who consider her movies a waste of time and her music not as grand as in the past.
