She made a name for herself as the blonde glamour girl Jordan but, for years afterwards, Katie Price was a brunette. The other night in Las Vegas, the star unveiled a new look, achieved after an 8-hour marathon in the hair salon.Just like she one day decided she no longer wanted to be a brunette, Katie again decided to go for a drastic makeover, which, she said, was a long time coming, the Daily Mail reports.
Regardless of whether blondes do have more fun or not, Katie told the British media she felt the need for a change in her life and, realizing she’d been a brunette for far too long, she knew what needed to be done.
“I had been dark for a good couple of years so it was time for a change,” the glamour girl told the media about her new look. After 8 hours spent with her stylist, she emerged a blonde – just in time for a night out on the town.
“After showcasing rich chocolate locks for two years, Price – also known as Jordan – has decided to go back to a more sunkissed look because she believes ‘blondes do have more fun’,” the Mail writes.
“The glamour model and businesswoman tossed a luscious mane of honey blonde tresses as she arrived at Mandalay Bay casino and events centre to watch a boxing match between friend Amir Khan and his Argentinean opponent Marcos Maidana,” the tab further writes.
“And it’s no wonder Price was all smiles – the fight, which was the final round of the WBA super lightweight championships, ended with British champ Khan being named the unanimous victor,” the Mail goes on to say.
Since Katie has never made a secret of how much work and money goes into always looking this great, it’s no wonder her new ‘do is making headlines.
Earlier this year, for instance, she came out with a book called “Standing Out,” a style guide for girls who wanted to look like her: among revelations of many LA trips for Botox and new hair extensions, it also included an admission that she was “addicted” to fake tans, regardless of how dangerous they might be for her health.
