Wireless carrier T-Mobile seems set to expand even more the list of Motorola devices it has on sale for its customers. Not only would the carrier launch the recently announced Motorola CHARM with MOTOBLUR, but it seems that it is also preparing for the release of a high-end Android-based smartphone from Motorola, which has just emerged on FCC's website.
The upcoming handset for T-Mobile is said to be the unannounced Motorola MB710, which seems to be none other than the Korean Motorola MOTOROI, or its European counterpart, the Milestone XT720. As the photos available from FCC show, the new device indeed resembles a lot with the already launched phones, which suggests that they might be tightly related. For what it's worth, this should not come as a surprise, since Motorola reportedly said earlier this year that it would launch MOTOROI in more markets around the world.
The handset caught wandering through FCC's courtyard comes with support for WCDMA 1700MHz AWS spectrum, which shows clearly that it should land at T-Mobile. Moreover, the draft user manual mentions some services that are specific to this wireless carrier, including MyFaves. At the same time, the user manual shows that the Motorola MB710 should pack the MOTOBLUR user interface on top of Google's Android platform.
Other specifications that can be extracted from the FCC filing for this Motorola phone include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, a 3.5mm headset jack, built-in GPS receiver, or a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space. According to a recent post on phonescoop, the MB710 should also land with an 8-megapixels photo snapper with xenon flash on the back. Other specifications of the new device haven't been unveiled for the time being, but we should expect it to include about the same capabilities as the MOTOROI or Milestone XT720.
We should also mention that this is not the first time when FCC documents unveil that T-Mobile is to receive a Motorola MOTOROI model on its airwaves. As stated above, the Motorola MB710 hasn't been announced officially as of yet, though it might not be too long before Motorola and T-Mobile would plan bringing it to the market, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
