Also offers free VoIP callingIf you are one of those people who are spending a lot of time chatting, texting or talking on the phone, then Nimbuzz will definitely make your social networking experience much easier. The application is an all-in-one mobile social messenger that combines instant messaging and VoIP across popular communities, including Skype, Windows Live Messenger (MSN), Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, GoogleTalk, AIM, and social networks including Facebook and MySpace.
As the developer of the application suggested, the name Nimbuzz means "halo" or “a shining cloud sometimes surrounding a deity when on earth.” Nimbuzz is fully compatible with almost all Symbian devices (more than 90 handsets) and is one of the few chat aggregators that pretty much do what they say. After downloading and installing the application, you will be invited to sign in to your various social messengers. You only need to do this once and your application will be set for quick login every time you choose one messenger service.
Basically, you can log in to all your messengers, as Nimbuzz combines all you contacts from Skype, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, Google Talk and more. From there you can see who's online and where, call/group-call, chat/chatrooms, offline messaging, you can even take a photo and send it to any of your contacts in an instant, or you can use voice messaging. Another strong point of the software is the fact that it offers free VoIP calling. Still, data transfer charges will apply, but you can successfully lower your bill by using the Internet to make international calls. The application even helps you back up your phonebook and restore your contacts when needed. The phonebook will be backed up online, so even if you lose your phone, you will still have access to your contacts.
Nimbuzz is a free application that is available on the mobile, PC and web, for instant messaging, location sharing, (group) calling, file sharing, and chatrooms.
